The Program Organized By The District Administration On World Tribal Day.

On the occasion of World Tribal Day, in the presence of Samari MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Chintamani Maharaj, Chief Guest and Vice President of Surguja Development Authority and Ramanujganj MLA Brihaspat Singh, a program was organized at High School Ground, Balrampur. Along with this, 468 panchayats of the area were also released the amount of the second installment of “Mukhyamantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana”. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, District Forest Officer Vivek Jha, District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Rena Jamil, Balrampur Janpad Panchayat President Vinay Pankra, Municipality President Mrs. Sundarmani Minj, Assistant Director Tribal Development Department Ms. Samiksha Jaiswal, Mr. Ramkumar Murum of Sarv Adivasi Samaj, Shivprasad Ravi of Ravidas Samaj and officers-employees of district administration, dignitaries And a large number of people from the tribal community were present. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Collector Remigius Ekka wished everyone a Happy World Tribal Day. He said that this day is a day of pride for all tribals. Many schemes are being implemented to provide and connect with the mainstream of development. He asked all the people to take advantage of these schemes. In the program, dance groups of tribal society from different areas of the district performed tribal dance and Magnificent and mesmerizing presentation of Karma dances was given. During the program, the entire district administration and dignitaries were seen dressed in tribal colors wearing yellow turban symbolizing tribal culture.
